The idea behind it
This project is intended to become a permanent part of my IRL streams. I am planning regular E Bike tours, especially during the warmer months and whenever the weather allows it. The idea is to explore different routes, discover new places and search for geocaches that can reasonably be reached by E Bike.
At the beginning, the tours will mainly take place across NRW. Over time, I would like to expand the routes further, take on longer trips throughout Germany and eventually also organize tours abroad. The goal is not simply to cover as many kilometers as possible, but to discover interesting places together with the community, find geocaches and let viewers experience the entire journey live.
There are, of course, various costs involved in bringing this project to life. These include the purchase of the E Bike itself, as well as additional accessories and equipment required for longer and regular tours. This includes equipment for safely transporting streaming gear, mobile power solutions, mounts, bags, safety equipment, spare parts and other accessories needed for reliable IRL streams.
A large part of the project will initially be financed by myself and built up step by step. At the same time, I would very much like to develop the project together with suitable partners. Once the first purchases have been made and the first tours have started, I would be happy to work with companies or partners who would like to support the project through equipment, products, financial support or other forms of collaboration. The goal is not to have the entire project financed by others, but to build something together that creates real value for both the community and potential partners.
The streaming technology itself also plays an important role. The goal is to broadcast live while on the road as reliably and in as high a quality as possible, without constantly having to interrupt tours because of technical issues. As the tours become longer and more ambitious, reliable batteries, mobile power solutions and suitable equipment will become increasingly important.
This is not intended to be a one time project. I want to make the E Bike tours a regular part of my content and continue developing the concept over the long term. From smaller tours through NRW to longer day trips, multi day routes and eventually journeys abroad, the project is intended to grow step by step.
The main focus will be on movement, adventure, geocaching and, of course, the community. Viewers should not simply watch a finished travel video afterwards, but experience the complete tour live, take part in decisions and discover new places and geocaches together with me.
In the long term, I would like to turn this into an independent IRL project that grows with every tour and can become even more diverse and professional through collaborations with suitable partners.
